Berg Biky City Blue Handbrake

The new Biky series has the ideal walking bike for everyone: you too! As a child, you know very well what’s cool and what’s not, so you want to have a good choice. The Biky models have everything you’d expect from a walking bike and more, like the handlebar limiter with two settings. All the protruding parts including the footrest are integrated into the design, so good for safe biking!

The Biky City has everything you would expect from a wheel. And in addition there are many extras. Standard cool 12 inch rims with pneumatic tires. The magnesium frame is strong as a bear and makes the bike nice and light. In addition, the Biky has a nice adjustable saddle. So you can cycle to the end of the world and back again.

Also available with hand brake
Small children brake the wheel intuitively with their feet. Although the shoes break more quickly, the child learns to brake in a controlled manner and abrupt full braking is not even possible with the feet. On a wheel with brakes, the child uses a brake lever on the handlebars to activate a band brake that locks the rear wheel and brakes the wheel. If the child is used to using the wheel, it can be introduced to braking with a handbrake through playful exercises. This will also make it easier to use the bicycle brake later on. On slopes or when the child is traveling at higher speeds, a well-set handbrake also supports the braking process with the feet and the child comes to a stop more quickly on a wheel with a brake.
